This one was for the proprietors of Elizium, an alternative and gothic clothing company. Acrylic/emulsion on board, 150 x 150 cms. 1995.

The Dark Alchemist.

For a little boy's room, Chertsey, Surrey. Executed in emulsion on emulsion, 3 x 5 ms, completed September 2005

"Clouds"

The client lives on the 7th floor of a high-rise, so this is a sky in the sky. Executed in acrylics and emulsion, on plaster.
The site is a basement swimming pool room in a large London house. There are existing architectural features which lead me to this design. There is a coffered ceiling over the pool, supported on four columns, which would lead to the effect of it being the single still-standing building in a deluged ruined Atlantis.

A full scale sunken Atlantis fantasy trompe l’œil. Proposal drawings of theme for a large basement swimming pool room in London.

In this commission the clients wanted something to fill an architectural oddity of their breakfast room, a shelf over the ceiling of an adjoining utility room. I came up with a minstrels gallery with a frog jazz quartet. The medium is acrylic on to emulsion on plaster. Plus MDF cut-outs. Completed June 2007.
