Faux 18th Cent Pastoral oval panel..

In this commission the clients wanted something to match existing decor colours with the style of the furniture. I made up a palette with pots of just colours in the room, and painted solely with those.
The image is imspired by a work of Richard Wilson 1714-1782, in the National Gallery.

The medium is acrylic on MDF board. Completed November 2007.
