Trompe l’œil staircase and shoe..
This is painted onto the door to a boiler room, at the back of a larder.
Now there is a servant's stair (appropriate for a house of this age) instead of a plain door.

Executed in acrylics, approximately 2.1m x 60 cms. On site, Apil 2009.
