As you can see I have kept this site to a minimum, so it can be quickly read without downloading huge graphics. But I do not consider it finished yet; there still are the medals to show and other photos are floating round the family here and there. I would like to add pictures of some of the other figures in this account, the Generals Coke and Buller, for example. Also a map would be highly beneficial for following Alfred's tortuous route around the Transvaal etc.
